What this check looks for

Company hijacking starts with a filing: a director appointment you didn’t make, a registered office moved to an address you don’t control, an ownership change you never agreed to. This tool pulls the company’s live filing history from the Companies House public API and separates the last 90 days of activity into two piles:

• Control-changing filings— officer changes, address changes, PSC (ownership) changes, name changes, share capital, charges. These are the forms hijackers file, and each one gets a “was this you?” flag.
• Routine activity — accounts and confirmation statements. Listed for completeness, not flagged.

What this check can’t do
